Ron was a huge help to my wife and I. We were just up in Newago this past week for our "Mini Moon". We were staying at my wife's aunts cottage on Hess lake and did not know much about the lake. He gave us a bunch of pointers on where to go and what to use. He also helped us pick out some new reels for our new rods we received as wedding gifts. If you are ever in the Newaygo area and have any sort of fishing question, go see Ron!
I stopped in over Memorial Day weekend. They only had one person working in the store, even though there was a craft fair and sidewalk sales going on. The store wasn't busy when I was there, maybe three customers, but the salesperson wouldn't sell me a fishing license because he was too busy. I was going to buy other items, but decided against it. I won't be back. I prefer to spend my money in stores that want my business.
Got that Black Widow deer scent from here and it worked like a charm.. Had a buck come in nose to the ground within 15 yards. Too bad he wasn't a shooter... I did get to practiced my pull back on him and will be ready for the big one. Great service here!!!
